Meet Madison
– Owner of Upstate Canine Academy
Madison is a professional dog trainer based in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, with a strong foundation in both dog behavior and veterinary care. She began training dogs at 17 and has years of hands-on experience, including work as a veterinary technician — giving her a unique, well-rounded perspective.
Serving Travelers Rest, Greenville, Taylors, Greer, and surrounding Upstate communities, Madison helps owners build confident, obedient dogs through clear communication and customized training plans. She’s especially passionate about working with high-drive breeds like German Shepherds, Dutch Shepherds, and Pit Bulls, but welcomes dogs of all breeds and temperaments.
Her goal is to reduce behavioral euthanasia and rehoming by empowering owners with the tools they need to succeed. Whether you’re dealing with leash pulling, reactivity, or basic obedience, Madison brings a calm, confident approach to every session.
